Daniel's verdict: Girls, I couldn’t be prouder. That was a great performance. Many people may be thinking you’re not a true contender here, as girl groups don’t do so well, but I think you’re here to prove them all wrong. The song gave you the chance to show how well you harmonise as a group, and how your voices gel to give the most beautiful sounds. An amazing performance, you truly deserve to be here in the next round.

Showcasing her impressive vocals, she quietly but proudly made her way through the competition. However, after messing up her song, she was shown the door. But tonight, she is determined to show you what she is made of and fight for her place.

Daniel's verdict: Nicole, in the judges houses stage everybody saw your weaknesses exposed. You totally pulled it together for that performance. It was understated, subtle, and sweet and totally note perfect, which I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting. A great start to your X Factor campaign.

Nicole, I am just so so proud of you. I know we wanted to sing this song to prove you can be a contemporary artist, and you did. You have the most amazing voice, and I really hope people vote for you so your here next week. Even though tonight was brilliant, I know you still have SOO much more to give.

Tars123 - perfect song choice, beautiful voice, well done

superstar111 - OOOH Nicole I really like you, and you're one of my favourites in the competition. It was, t it was sage !however, a safe choice of song to sing. Good most definitely, and I think you'll be here next week, but I'd like to see you tackle something a bit more unconventional.

We first saw a venerable side to Duane at his first audition, where he struggled with his song choices. He soon got back on top and began to become a star. However he was denied of his talent at the judges houses. Will his song choice tonight bring out the star in him?

Daniel's verdict: Duane, that was an average performance. If I’m being honest, I don’t think the song did you justice. You can do so much better, and to do that, a song that isn’t such an obvious choice for you is needed. You also found it hard to portray the emotions behind the lyrics, and we all know that that is because of the meaning in Chris’ words. I’m sure you’ll be here in the next round, but tonight wasn’t for me.

Tars123 - Interesting song choice. Good performance

superstar111 - Well Duane, it was good! I admittedly, struggled to get a song that I thought would suit you but I think it worked! You made yourself contemporary, which was one of the worries going by your auditions!

Duane I thought that was a beautiful song choice, I didn't know that song before you did it, but I still loved it. I love your voice. And I think your going to go a long way in this contest. I would really love to see you do something a little bit more soulful though, although still being contemporary, like your audition.

Daniel looked all too familiar when he appeared on this year’s auditions. After trying on Popstars, and now the X Factor, he was determined for his chance. But was told it was his last chance at the judge’s houses. Will you give him that second chance?

Daniel's verdict: Daniel, for such a talented vocalist as you; the song chosen was pretty generic and boring. I criticise as I know you can do far better than that, and to do that you need a superior song. You have such soul in your voice, and that song stifled it. I’d suggest something different, maybe something by Seal, but I know you can do better if you make it through to the next stage.

Tars123 - I loved your voice at the first audition, and think this was the perfect song to showcase your talent. Well done!

superstar111 - Amazing! That was just what I was wanting from TreyC tonight, but instead I got it from you! I didn't expect you to do well in this Daniel, I'll be honest, but I think you may just cause an upset.

Daniel, that was a good performance, and a good song choice. I would have perhaps picked another song choice for you though, something with a bit more oomph. I definately think you are still 100% here next week though. And I hope you are back, so we can see what else you can do.

Ok, let’s hear from DS152 and the Groups

We didn’t know quite what to make of this group with their urban sound and style. But they showed us what they were all about at the judge’s houses. However, their dreams were ruined and were sent home. Tonight, there coming out fighting for their dream to survive.

Singing Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake... its Harmony Hood

Daniel, Harmony Hood's Mentor's verdict: Harmony Hood, you are the most diverse and different act in the Final 12. Many people wouldn’t associate a Justin Timberlake with you, and I know that you didn’t quite understand how it would show off your talent when I first chose the song, but you gave it 100% and it completely had the effect I was hoping for. The crowd absolutely loved it, and that was because it was fun, fast, and fierce. Need I say more?

Tars123 - Great song, well done

superstar111 - You guys are good! You're different from the usual and that's going to work in your favour in this competition!
