You may find the answer in the Humax PVR forum

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/f...play.php?f=119

There are plenty of threads about the problems with the 9200.

One thing though. When you retuned did you just simply do an automatic channel scan or did you delete all the channels first? I know from my own 9150 that doing an auto scan alone can seriously screw the poor thing up,

The way to do a retune is to go into the Edit Channel list menu option. Use the Select All option then Delete to remove all existing channels. Repeat for the Radio channels. Then do an auto scan. Or do a full reset on it which does the same thing but also destroys all your timer information as well.

That tends to sort a lot of problems with the Humax channel memory and the Programme Guide. Things can get a tad more complicated if you are picking up two or more transmitters, as many in the North West have discovered with Moel Y Parc and Winter Hill transmitters going through Digital Switch Over.

It's not a con. An over the air update will be available (but it may be after christmas). Firstly check if you have channels with numbers greater than 800 in the list if you have post which transmitter you receive from. (Channel nos in the 800's mean that you are getting programmes from more than 1 transmitter - bad news for a pvr) In the meantime if you don't have channels in 800's delete all the channels you don't watch it may well help. (P52 in the manual)
