It's weird she didn't like Jo as I've just read in this year's annual that she a mate of Matt Culter's through his cousin Fran - you'd think that would have biased her in her favour not against.

Alesha's comment to Craig Kelly at Blackpool .. it wasn't just what she said but the way that she said it .. and in front of all of his family too.
She could've said she didn't like it without being so nasty and after all it was down to the public that Zoe went over Craig .. not Craig.

Len has been particularly bad tempered this year too.

I didn't think Craig's 'bush kangaroo' comment was all that bad .. certainly not worth the fuss it caused ... he just meant she was too 'skippy' .. Alesha's 'drunken rag doll' comment was worse imo.

This thread should be re-awakened after the "Lisa and Robin....good luck with that" from Craig last night.

I'm a fan of Craig but that was abit nasty, at least see them dance first. Mind you he was probably told to be as horrid as poss by TPTB

Just reading back on this thread but can anyone remember who Arlene said "Dead Eyes..." to?

Also loved Craig's "Rigor Mortis" line, it was to Joe Calzaghe wasn't it?

I think she may have said something like this more than once, although I believe she said it to Rachel Stevens.

I remember Arlene saying Ricky Whittle was dead eyed in a newspaper article but can't remember her saying it to anyone on the show.

It looked like Craig got in a few nasty jibes last night aimed at James and Brendan as well as the remark about Lisa and Robin. He was booed a few times - you would think he could at least wait for the show to start properly. I think he's going to be nastier than ever this year.

I normally think Crag is okay and in a different league to the nasty Jason Gardiner (formerly of DOI) but I thought his ref to Robin and Lisa, last night, was unnecessary. He lowered himself, there.

I agree with the above, it was cheap remark. I thought it was low tbh.

I agree totally - I don't think she a horrid person - I think it was inexperience coupled with a lack of detatchment but it was totally unprofessional and unduly personal. Yes, Zoe should have outlasted Craig in the competition but it was the public that made it so - to attack him for it was wrong.

I received a warning from the DS mods just for mentioning it.”

He has admitted he overstepped the line with that one but she was rude first saying 'you don't know what you're talking about' to whcih he responded to with words to the effect of 'that's rich coming from someone who makes their living standing around in a puffer jacket crying all the time' - it was a allusion to Bianca not Patsy - but still not good and he has admitted it wasn't.

I found Alesha saying to Craig Kelly ''You're not as good as you think you are'' in 2009 and Len calling Craig a stupid little sod in 2011.

Jason really was the worst, I didn't like him at all.

I argee indeed the venom in the comments would indicate he had no idea but thought her and Brendan were just being lazy. I think Len was out of line but I think a lot of the sentiment was that he thought she was very talented but her and Brendan just weren't doing her justice. Brendan probably knew the reasons why but because it wasn't his personal life impacting things he couldn't say anything - in retrospect I actually respect him for that - but it annoyed him he was getting flack (as was Kelly) for something that wasn't his fault (or really hers) and he lost his temper and came out with a what at the time sounded like a pretty lame excuse. That's my reading of it anyway.

Any more ? Which is the worst ? Which is the nastiest NASTY COMMENT ?”

I think the worst one by far was Len wagging his finger and tearing strips off Kelly Brook for being so useless and lazy for not bothering to put any effort into learning her routine. 24 hours later she had left the competition after the death of her father.

I'm sure he said something like that last year - maybe about Russell and Flavia? I'm sure he's also commented on James' mouth on a launch show before.

Nothing will ever top his 'faecal matter that won't flush' comment directed at Sharon Davies on Dancing on Ice. That plus his run in with Karen Barber probably cost him his job.

Agree, that was the day I went off Len. He has a very agressive manner. Some of the things he has said to the dancers and contestants on the American Dancing with the Stars have also been totally out of order. I cannot understand how Len is still a judge for the American version.

Alesha and the 'I had to endure that' comment also tops it for me as being one of the nastiest things said and again said with agression. So glad she has gone.

I didn't like Brendan being told to show up and do his job the week after he'd been off because he was attending his father's funeral.

Craig RH to Mark Foster.

"It was a little bit like a stick insect on acid and at times rather grotesque I'm afraid."

Under the circumstances after the timewarp-jive Len was the nastiest to Brendan. He knew about the circumstances and that "turn up, keep up and shut up" was just gross. I think mostly you have to expect sometimes blunt criticism so i don't think most of these comments werent that rude, but some times they go for me too far.

He made some very bitchy comments about Lisa on the One Show last week, strongly implying that she'd be the worst dancer by far. He seemed utterly contemptuous of her before he'd even seen her dance, which I think is awful and very unfair to her.

She may well be the worst dancer, who knows until the show starts? But writing her off publicly like that before it's even begun is just really sh*tty IMO.

Alesha's comments to Craig Kelly in Blackpool were the nastiest I've ever heard though. She could have told him that his dancing wasn't up to the standard they'd expect by that stage of the competition without being so vicious and spiteful. I lost all respect for her after that.

Alesha only said what alot of people were thinking we lost Zoe Lucker because of him.

Craig on the One Show was even worse about Sid saying there wasn't even a place for him on the chart for him and throwing his photo on the floor.

I think the difference between a lot of the comments mentioned are that Craig thought about what he's going to say and most of the other comments were not thought out before hand.

It's Craig's job to be the 'nasty' judge, so he does say cruel and nasty things every week and sometimes he crosses the line.

For me the dead eyes comment is the the worst so far.

'We' lost Zoe? I liked her but I had no problem 'enduring' her exit - or as Alesha would say 'enjuring.'

I found Alesha's comments rude and personal. Who cares what she had to endure - she was getting obscenely well paid for a few hours per week.

Viewers voted for Craig to get to Blackpool - so he deserved to be there.

But she was right when she told him he wasn't as good a dancer as he thought he was!
