Freesat TV with Freeview
Michael Blake
15-12-2009
Hi,
I have just purchased my first Freesat enabled TV and although it is not yet fed with a satellite cable I am getting Freeview from an old analogue aerial fed into a Sky+ box and then linked to the TV aerial socket.

I don't have any Freeview box so does anyone know if the Sony Freesat TV's (W5810) are also equipped with Freeview?

Thanks,
Mickey

Yes they are.

As are just about every other freesat TV that I have seen.

A quick Google of the model shows it does.
I have yet to come across a Freesat Tv that doesn't have a digital Freeview tuner on-board.

Yes, all sets have Freeview tuners these days, and have for years now.

On the Sony Freesat TV's you toggle between Freesat and Freeview by pressing the Digital button.
