A new BT line to be installed. Help needed.
hi guys, laugh if you must, because this is gonna make me sound so stupid.
I am having a BT line installed at my place tomorrow, the only reason I need it is for the Internet. So do they have different sockets for phone only and phone/internet? If they do, then what do that called? If they don't, then do I need an adaptor to convert it? Sorry this sounds so stupid, but don't want to get the wrong thing installed. Thanks |

no you will just get a standard BT socket that looks abit like this http://www.zensupport.co.uk/KBResour...r_socket_2.jpg
then when your internet modem / router arrives ( whoever you use for your broadband) will supply the adaptor, which will look like this http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Images/P..._3/CX109HS.JPG |
