Can anyone tell me how I can easily watch last night's ITT with Bruce? I've watched the whole SCD series on Reality TV Fan but the hero who produces that website doesn't post ITT.
The trouble is that I've never figured out all this 'torrent' business.

I would suggest that you watch it on bbc i-player but it sounds like you're outside of the Uk in which case I can't be much help.

Yes that montage for him was very cringingly arse lickingly awful!!!! Shame as he came across quite well I thought afterwards. Does not appear to be up his own ar-s; as I'd expected him to be, it was a nice surprise .

I think what this shows is just how undimmed Bruce's energies are. Nobody could say watching this appearance on ITT on live television that he is past it.

If Bruce is criticised for his performance on SCD, I think it's because the format of the show is simply not relaxed enough for Bruce's spontaneity.

I very much hope the rumours are true and that he'll be back in 2010.

I couldn't understand why a "video biography" of Bruce Forsyth was included in IT2. He's just the compere.
Much as I think he's the right man for the job, he annoyed me last night as he tried to dominate the programme and wouldn't shut up.
What bombs falling near Arsenal Football Club's ground during WW2 had to do with a dance programme, I've no idea.

I thought he was fine on ITT and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to watch BUT I just can't watch him on SCD. Have to mute him all the time. His jokes are so naff - absolutely unbearable.

Why oh why does he have such terrible scripted 'jokes'? He's much better when he's spontaneous as he was with the Masterclass.

I do think it's time for him to retire gracefully.

It certainly shows he isn't 'past it' when it comes to shows like ITT. It says nothing about other shows. As it happens I don't like his performance on SCD but it is nothing to do with being 'past it'.

In my opinion the problem, and I definitely think there is one, is that SCD is not really the right show for him. His best work has been when he is the star of the show, or acting as a star compere. SCD really doesn't need his style of star compere. All of what the host actually needs to say could actually be said equally effectively by an anonymous voice over person, however it does need the presence of a host on stage to work.

I think he directed, produced, and edited last night show he is so me me me. I have to watch SCD on Sky+ to enable me to FF his stupid comments and jokes.

I'm sure I saw Claudia Winkleman's designer shoes poking out of Brucie's backside at one point

It really was an arse kissing session. Unfortunatly I dont the think the Beeb will ever replace, unless he's either physically unable to carry on doing it or he snuffs it.

I'd have liked them to have given Bruce more time to answer his questions on ITT.

Ditto. I watch it all about 10 minutes behind live TV.

Who do people want to replace him, if they don't like him? Graham Norton? Dale Winton?

I wish they'd ditch Tess and replace her with Claudia.

I'm guessing that all you people who want to get rid of Bruce are probably my Kat's age early twenties? I was lucky enough to grow up with the generation game, play your cards right, and for me I probably wouldn't bother watching again if he was forced out because of his age. I like him and actually realise when he explains the joke he is being ironic.

Well I think he's a great all round entertainer and presenter and I'm the same age as the number of posts you've made (26). I certainly don't want Brucie to go.

Whilst I do sometimes find his jokes a little tiresome, I can't help wondering that if he did leave it would be a case of 'don't know what you've got till it's gone'
