Strictly against X Factor
Retrospective
16-12-2009
Sorry if this has been discussed before or that there is or has been a thread started.
But I was reading the paper and came accross a bit that says "Strictly never going to have as many viewers as X Factor."
Well I have been enjoying both X factor and Strictly but its very frustrating because I sit down to watch Strictly but then the X Factor was on at 8pm. So I ended up taping the rest of Strictly so I could go and watch X Factor.
It really spoils my enjoyment of Strictly. But I guess I enjoy the X factor that bit more than Strictly. So that's why Strictly gets taped.
Ideally if Strictly was finished just as the X Factor was beginning that would have been great and then for the people that are like me Strictly would have had more viewers and more people voting.

I completely agree with you even though I'm not an X-factor fan

I don't see why they have to compete with each other. Two great shows so whats the problem. Also people say Strictly suffers because of it's budget and I think everyone knows X-factor has a far bigger budget but what can I say singers cost more than dancers. The proffesional dancers are soooo underpayed in my opinion

But to be honest the bbc could change anything about the show and I wouldn't care as long as they kept Darren and Lilia. Thats a MUST.

DerChef returns

X-Factor (along with ITV for that matter) as far as I am concerned is a waste of bandwidth.

XF Is a vacuous karaoke contest of talent free wannabes going from "Love love pleeeese love me" to telling to world about their dead gannies.

Download RATM on iTunes, Play.com ect

How about a hybrid of the two - X-Stractor. Lots of singing and dancing shown on Sunday nights.

How about X-Tractor?

Similar to now with auditionees and a live final.

Except the rejects get run over by a large farm vehicle.
