That said, I think Cherie had a fair crack at it. She should have stayed a couple of weeks more (and def longer than John Sergeant) but I don't think she was too badly cheated.
I'd go for:
Gabby Logan
Zoe Lucker
Spoony
Ray Fearon
Don Warrington
Stephanie Beecham.
In the category of 'went a long way but alas left slightly prematurely' I'd add in Kelly Brook and Aled Jones.
I think you have halfway through as a cut-off point:
Someone else will have to dance with either Gaby or Zoe Lucker.
Ok here goes:
Spoony
Ray Fearon (not a fav but he deserves another chance)
Zoe Lucker
Gaby
Spoony
Martina Hingis (she deserved more of a chance then she got she had potential)
Phil Daniels (why not give a chance to do latin at least)
Penny (it would be interesting to give her her wish to do a waltz and tango - it would probably be pretty good)
Mica Paris (she was better than Georgina and Jan and deserved a bit more of a go)
Don Warrington (I think he had the potential to be a good ballroom dancer if not a latin one)
Claire Sweeney and Brian Fortuna
Martin Offiah and Erin Boag
DJ Spooney and Ola Jordan
Ray Fearon and Natalie Lowe
Stephanie Beacham and Vincent Simeone
John Barnes and Katya Virshilas
Gabby Logan and Darren Bennett
Martina Hingis and Matthew Cutler
Rav Wilding (I think he'd be ok with an experienced choreographer) and Lila Kopylova
Zoe Lucker and James Jordan
I know Martin and John went quite far, but when comparing to who was left at that time they did go too early IMO.

I think Barnsey had reached the upper limit of his talents actually as he'd produced some good latin due to his natural rhythm but his terrible posture doomed everything else including his samba he went out on. All the latin he had left was the paso and rhumba and I'm not convinced they would have been any good. I liked the guy but I don't think he was robbed like I said I think Don Warrington should have had a bit more of a go at it. I'm not convinced about Rav either but the rest of the list I like and it would be interesting to see if he did better with a better cheographer just as it'll be interesting on tour to see how well Aliona can dance with someone else's much better cheorography. I'd forgotten about Steph Beacham she'd been worth having just for her one-liners if nothing else and for a more mature lady I thought she was a really good dancer too when everyone came back it was obvious she was light years ahead of Brian Capron - who knows what she could have done given the same chance as Kenny or Leticia Dean.

I think Natalie went before her time but not exactly a shock exit given who else was still in.”

Oh sorry I think I misunderstood the thread.
I wrote out a list of celebs who I don't think stayed long enough! I wasn't shocked by most of their exits though.
1. AUSTIN AUSTIN AUSTIN!!!
(I felt quite strongly about this one, you may have guessed....)
2. Louisa Lytton
3. Jade Johnson
4. DJ Spoony
5. Ray Fearon
6. Gabby Logan
7. Martina Hingis
8. Zoe Lucker
9. Ali Bastian
10. Stephanie Beacham
(Also I hear Claire Sweeney was good but I didn't watch that series)
This isn't including people who got to the final but didn't get the placing I think they deserved, or else the list would also include Colin Jackson and Zoe Ball too.
