Well I got a 1st Generation iPod Touch for Xmas 2007 and last month the home button got 'stuck' inside becoming unable to operate. So my dad took it in to this iPod repair shop (not an Apple shop as my warranty expired around Xmas 2008) and when I got it back with a brand new working home button, my ipod wouldn't turn on, I naturally thought it just needed a massive charge so left it in my dock overnight and sure enough the next morning the apple logo popped up and hey presto
! But then all I saw was a white screen, so after resetting my dad gave it back to the shop who then fixed it, even showing me and my dad a film on my ipod to prove it was working again. So I've brought it home, switched it on and played with it for a while and then off, now it's back to the problem, whenever it switches on all it is is a white screen, so my dad is going to take it back AGAIN, he already payed £50 for the original repair, I do hope that my iPod is fixable.
What are my chances.
