^^Are you serious? Both Pixie and Little Boots have relied on more than 'hit singles'.

Furthermore the alums haven't finished selling.

I'm sorry, but if selling a number one multi platinum album and being the first UK female to top the US singles charts in 25 years isn't 'cracking' the US then some people are being as obstinate as some of them accuse Leona fans of being.

But that could be seen as a one hit wonder. A very succesful debut single and album, followed by one more top 20 hit and then a bunch of top 60 hits without much longtivity isn't great.

For example, look at (for example) Miley Cyrus. A few top 20 hits that have dropped like stones in the UK. Has she "cracked" the UK then just like Leona has cracked the US?

Er, please don't put Will Young in the same category as Leon Jackson and Same Difference

I don't know why some artists and fans are so obsessed with 'breaking America' Surely, to be a successful singer, is to have longevity and several good ALBUM sales, and there's not too many that succeed in doing that. A fantastic selling single does not a long-time successful singer make
