I love how the BBC asked them not to sing '**** you I won't do what you tell me'.

TXF charity singles, and b. every other RATM release that hasn't donated to charity. but apart from that, good point! some of this is just laughable! Iain

Krusty the Clown: Now, boys, the network has a problem with some of your lyrics. Do you mind changing them for the show?
Anthony Kiedis: Forget you, clown. Chad Smith: Yeah, our lyrics are like our children, man. No way. Krusty the Clown: Well, okay, but here where it says, "What I got you gotta get and put it in you", how about just, "What I'd like is I'd like to hug and kiss you." Flea: Wow. That's much better! Arik Marshall: Everyone can enjoy that. |

In the sense that it could possibly get an unusual song to no1, then it is a rebellion of sorts.

A group cover of You Are Not Alone was released specifically to aid Great Ormond Street Hospital a month ago.
Once again, Simon Cowell took all the thanks for that. |

exaclty - did jeff buckley say thank you leonard halfway through allelujah? of course not. people look for any reason to bash cowell, its pathetic - of course him/his shows have obvious flaws but dont clutch at straws.

WHO THE HELL SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BREAKING OFF HALFWAY THROUGH THE TRACK?! DONT ACT LIKE AN IDIOT.
I dont see anywhere on that CD or the CD Cover that R Kelly is credited as the writer, Michael Jackson as the original performer or MJJ Productions allowing Cowell to use it. Other artists do it, if they cover versions. Cowell and the Fix Factor didnt. |

Other artists do it, if they cover versions. Cowell and the Fix Factor didnt. Covers rarely mention the original on the CD cover, if at all; but do mention composers in song credits. Singling X-Factor out for doing what the vast majority of artists do seems harsh. This recent Mariah Carey cover goes to no great effort to tell us Foreigner wrote the song - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ey_iwtkwli.jpg No Prince here - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...compares2u.jpg Etc. |
