iPod Touch Shuffling

Had my iPod Touch 8GB since August all was well. I would select a song play and when finished it would play the next one on the list. Now however since it was last updated it appears to be stuck on permanant shuffle. No matter what I do it will not stop shuffling the songs. Everything else works perfectly apart from the damn shuffle. Has anyone got any ideas or the same problem.

The last Ipod touch update had a "shake to shuffle" feature. Just tap it to turn it off. That happened to me the last time I updated mine. Just go to Settings -> Music -> Shake To Shuffle and turn this off. Then it will work normally. I had a funny episode with it one Monday. I was playing a song and then it started playing some other random song (and I had turned the shuffle off by then). Totally bizarre!

I already have the shake option switched off, but it still shuffles.

Is it shuffling when the shuffle symbol is off (i.e white)?

Got it sorted this weekend. When a track is playing and you tap the screen the playtime bar appears telling you the progree of the song and the Geniues symbol. Well on that bar in the bottom right hand corner is the shuffle symbol. I tapped that to change it from blue to white and low and behold it carries on in correct order now.
