i adore alesha but would be better if she sung and the pros danced (or she dances with Matt).
I think Bruce would be rubbish dueting with her and they just dont match.

I can't believe they are really going to do this. Let's hope it's some kind of horrendous swansong for the both of them.

I loved the segment with Bruce and Anton doing 'Me and my Shadow' last year but I don't quite get Alesha and Bruce together

Now this I could live with.
I suppose it's only fair that Alesha gets to 'have a go' like Darcey did so spectacularly last week.

One bit of the article that I take issue with is Len, head judge no less, backing one of the two finalists - that is manipulation.
Granted it sort of balances because the anti Judge/Len brigade will vote in opposition and the pro Judge/Len faction will take his advice on board but it is still
wrong for him to divulge a preference when he hasn't seen them dance yet

Missed it - who did he prefer?

Re Len supporting Ricky: All he's saying that he has to judge the dancing and Ricky is better but he has also said Chris would win for 'enthusiasm, entertainment...' and whatever else he said last week. He also says Chris 'epitomises' the show. I don't find his comments surprising at all because it's his professional job and like he said 'if you're judging it as a dance show' which he is, 'you have to go with Ricky'. It's not like he has any say about who wins the Saturday show.

Quote:
“Goodman also revealed that he is backing Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle to win the series over BBC Breakfast presenter Chris Hollins.
"The thing with the viewers is they love an underdog but they love justice more," he said. "As much as I love Chris and I think he's done a wonderful job, if you're judging it as a dance show you have to go with Ricky."”

Above is the actual quote I'm commenting on - I believe you've quoted from Len's remarks during the show last week and ITT?
I still maintain that the Head Judge should not be advocating one of two finalists before he sees the performances.
(I have no preference btw except for fair play)
