People need to go out and BUY Joe's single from the shops....... Lets get him to number one!! Don't see why a campaign aimed with hatred behind it should be allowed to get something to number one!

I agreed with what Aly Burke said on radio 1 today
She said along the lines of like that at the end of the day, people will buy the song they like. They are not gonna go out a song because of the hype. |

I've just bought Rage...hate the song and will never play it - but the smugness disappearing from Cowell's face is worth the 65p

If there IS hatred behind this campaign then it is a valid hatred of something which many people believe is causing the slow erosion of our music industry and indeed our wider culture and attitudes towards fame and celebrity. It is a hatred of organisations/people/TV shows that exploit and humiliate people in a ritualistic manner to line their own pockets. I would MUCH rather buy into that supposed hatred than into the bloodsucking, soul-less x-factor juggernaut. |

RATM are now outselling Joe by 3 to 1 on Itunes, they have a massive lead. Even spectacular CD sales by Joe might not be enough to stop them if this keeps up.

I dont mind the Xfactor at all and dont mind the winner getting a number 1 single.
Saying that though I do wish the Xfactor wouldnt finnish a week before xmas to try and garuantee an xmas number 1. I do miss all the excitement of finding out what would be xmas number 1 between artists that actually put some effort into making a song fit for xmas like it used to be. As it is nobody seems to bother anymore these days since Xfactor started to dominate that spot every year. |
