I love I See You so much.
And I've not really been impressed with Adam post-idol but this performance was really good

Leona appears to have throat problems or just be getting over them. I noticed that her vocals on this and on the XF final last Sunday weren't spot on, particularly in her lower register which is usually less controlled than her high register anyway but not to this extent and the problems she has supposedly been having may explain that.
Adam was great. That mamba is very well trained!!! |

I don't particularly like I SeeYou but it might grow on me. I see why some may have said her vocals have not been the usual in her last few performances but they still kicked the efforts of most others around.
Adam's vocal and performance were fabulous and he looked great. Sweetly ironic that two relatively inexperienced artists, both from talent shows, stole the show from two established artists, including the great Mary J. I mean, these talent shows don't produce any real talent do they? |

I know that Leona wasn't techinically as perfect as she can be, but overall, I thought it was a very good lively performance.

Leona was good but not her best and neither was her performance on X Factor last week. Mind you, I think some people are just being picky, as they were with Adam's vocals on the AMAs. Leona and Adam usually spoil their audiences with note perfect performances so the slightest flaw is magnified. However, even at their weakest, they both give vocal performances that most other current artists can only dream of.
Leona has been having throat problems and her performance at the Jingle Jam was commented on for the same reasons, just like the one night of the AI tour (Memphis) when the sore throat Adam had for a week or so showed in his vocals. Adam has given some great performances of Whataya Want From Me over the past couple of weeks but this one was particularly good as a whole performance. I See You is a bit of a grower. It's a shame Time for Miracles isn't eligible for nomination under the rules of the Golden Globes and Oscars. It would have made for an interesting scenario. |
