Does anyone reckon that Steven Moffat will bring him back for his any of his series?

Hard to say but i think as Jack/John Barrowman is so popular i would not bet against it !

I don't know. Since he has undergone a complete personality transplant since Moffat wrote for him I'm not persuaded.

In a word 'No' but you never know...

I think John Barrowman wants to move on and do other things now and same goes for the Moffs vision. Am only guessing though - same as all of us. It will be quite revealing how the series trailer looks on New Years Day

Would he have to ask RTD to use him in one of his episodes as Jack will be in Torchwood and RTD is still going to be working on that and yes his first episode was written by Steven Moffat but he was created by RTD so does that mean he has to clear rights and stuff like they have to do with the Daleks and K9?

I think Barrowman might be done with the whole Torchwood thing. RTD has said it's looking more likely that Torchwood will be back for a series next year but not it a way that we would recognise it... which sounds like 'new cast' to me .. maybe with Gwen thou

But Barrowman has said in many interviews that when the Doctor needs Captain Jack he will be there, so does that maybe mean he wont do Torchwood and will be in Doctor Who sometimes?

Maybe. I think it boils down to it being up to John Barrowman as to whether he wants to do it. It must be a wrench travelling back and too from BBC London to BBC Cardiff all the time... He may just need a short break from it. But I do believe it is his last appearnace for a while in that role will be this xmas / new year

A year and a half between series isn't enough?

In an interview on Steve Wright's R2 programme this month, he stated something enirely different:

Quote:
“John Barrowman confirms full series for Torchwood 4

Speaking on the Steve Wright in the Afternoon show on BBC Radio 2, Torchwood star John Barrowman confirmed that he has signed up to return to the series.

After the success of the five night Children of Earth, Barrowman said that Torchwood would be returning to a 13 instalment episodic format for its fourth season. No official production date has been set for the new series, although creator Russell T Davies previously indicated he expected it to get started early in 2010.”

John lives in Wales and he said he would be back for the new Torchwood series. I don't think Jack will be in the next series of DW because he's too big a character for Matt Smith to have to deal with early on.

I think it's unlikely (but hardly impossible) for him to be back while Torchwood is running. A lot depends on the extent to which Moffat brings back characters in general.

Your post is in spoilers so I'll put mine in spoilers.

Spoiler
River Song and the Weeping Angels are the Moffs characters so it makes sense that they'll be back. The Sea Devils and the Silurians are Classic Series villains they can always be brought back.

As I've said before, I don't think SM will be bringing back any RTD characters in the next series. It's his first one in charge. I imagine he'll want to make his own mark on the show.

maybe Steven Moffat might bring back a character from RTDs era in the sixth series which will be Steven Moffat second series like RTD brought back Sarah Jane in the second series.

And it may depend on how the fifth series is received. If his take on the show is not as popular or critically successful as RTD's (and yes, that is a possibility), there may well be pressure in the sixth series to include some elements of the RTD era, including his characters, perhaps even making them an important part of his era, as RTD did with Sarah Jane.
