DS Ten Teasers from The End Of Time part one.

1. The first line of the episode? "It is said that in the final days of planet Earth, everyone had bad dreams."

2. Continuing the Children In Need scene, where The Doctor is in the cave with The Ood, he sees visions of The Master, Joshua Naismith... and Wilf.

3. The Master's resurrection is preposterous. Absolutely preposterous. Lucy Saxon - incarcerated after the events of 'The Last of the Time Lords' - plays a key part in the process. And she has such lovely lipstick.

4. We don't have to wait too long before The Master and The Doctor come face-to-face for their Star Wars-esque battle. Other films getting small nods in 'Part One' include Jaws 2 (thump thump) and The Matrix.

5. Joshua Naismith, an idiot and a fool, wants Harold Saxon The Master to do something for him.

6. There's an awful lot of Wilf in this episode. Not too much Donna to start with, although we find out what she's been doing with her life while The Doctor's been absent. And she's still very special.

7. POTUS!

8. Random words from the script: "cactus" (Wilf), "shimmer" (Doctor), "coincidence" (TV), "so hungry" (Master), "...new man goes sauntering away" (Doctor).

9. New picture alert: (This one is in the spoiler thread already, of the Master strapped into a chair and his mouth covered too).

10. An entry posted here on Tube Talk in the last day or so is actually pretty significant.

POTUS stands for President of the United States, if you didn't know.

I'd imagine the Tube Talk thing would be Freema Agyeman saying she is in it.

I posted this in the other thread, but as this is actually about what i'm talking about, i thought i post it here too.
3. The Master's resurrection is preposterous. Absolutely preposterous - preposterous in a good way or a bad way? I'm worried now that him coming back will be silly and take away the seriousness of it all.

It could be that but it could also be that the Doctor and the Master are best friends but not quite best friends perhaps they have to help each other just a bad theory

SFX preview from the press screening
http://www.sfx.co.uk/page/sfx?entry=...the_doctor_who

Glad to read it's all sounding fab!

Interesting John Simm is in the opening credits -usually reserved for the Doctor and companions ..thats a break with tradition!

Pleased theres a lot of Wilf-it's nice Ten is getting a companion by his side .The replies to the DS teasers seem to think teaser 10 is a reference to Freema ..

I think 'preposterous' is a strange word to use. If it is deliberate, maybe it refers to the nature of how The Master is brought back. 'Preposterous' means something in the wrong order (usually, something reversed). So, it could mean that The Masters death is literally reversed or maybe he is somehow brought forward in time from before his original death (closer to what 'preposterous' means).

Of course, maybe not, as there's no red ring. And no CGI skeleton. Maybe they bring him back to life before his body is completely ready? That, too, would be preposterous. Absolutely.

I'm very probably clutching at straws here, but Total Sci-Fi Online's review seems to hint that...

Spoiler
...Wilf isn't who he seems...one of The Doc's seemingly extinct old friends, maybe? Possibly???

I'm guessing the POTUS isn't going to be killed by the Master this time.

Killing off an unnamed (till the next series anyway) Tony Blair is one thing but can RTD get away with
Spoiler
killing Obama?
