The line out connectors marked "K" need a twin phono cable to go into the AUX input of your hifi... simple and basic...

I don't know the name of them, but it is easy enough to buy leads from electrical or music shops that have the red and white points at the end.
They also come sometimes with a third, yellow point.
The yellow is for video.
The red is the right audio channel.
The white is the left audio channel.

There should be the same connections available as an 'audio/video' OUT option on your TV. You don't need to use the yellow one to make the audio work.

There are also leads available widely that have the red/white connections at one end and a jack plug at the other - the jack plug end can go into your 'phones' socket on your TV and the red/whited into your stereo.

Hope that makes sense.

You are right, and I should have known as half of my music recording equipment that I have used for ten years have 'phono in' connections LOL.
Thanks.

... which is what I said at 6.26 this morning...

I'm beginning to find it a little irritating to regularly hear my advice repeated by others, long after I have given it in good faith.

Nothing personal, but I think it's "DigitalSpy Syndrome", where everyone has to give their 10 pence, even though a question has been answered.

...and i'm sure was said 30,000 times yesterday - however i wasn't addressing the OP - i was specifically addressing BigBHMs question (which was still 'a question' after you posted) - hence i quoted it

I think you're also getting a little paranoid

well if there are still questions after your statement then it obviously hasn't answered all of them - my advice to you would be to give a fuller (more comprehensive) answer in the first place - have a look at the experienced posters

me? i just answer from the hip, but then dont get excited if someone else picks up the specifics

Question: "is it possibe to get sound out of my Tv Through my stereo "

Answer: "The line out connectors marked "K" need a twin phono cable to go into the AUX input of your hifi... "

Sorry if that wasn't a full and comprehensive answer...

PS I've been posting in forums for decades, so watch how you patronise people

Blimey ! !

Giving advice in a slightly different way to the advice that has already been posted is hardly the crime of the century.

Personally, when I ask for advice it is because I haven't a clue what to do - the more opinion and detail I get the better as far as I am concerned.

To be fair you don't see many advice threads that have just one reply

You dont need to apologise for questions raised after your post

but dont be 'offended' if they get answered

Then you shouldn't need me to tell you that a more comprehensive answer wont leave unanswered questions - that's assuming you want your word to be the last - otherwise it wont be
