Poor deluded young Joe. Unfortunately this is the problem with X F*ctor. The winners seem to think it's their god given right to number 1. How about all the artists who properly work hard to get a record deal without all the help from Cowell and co? They aren't guaranteed a number one unless they actually produce good original music.

I personally have nothing against him. I just don't think he should expect a number 1 with his first release.

Don't they know that playing musical instruments, writing your own lyrics and song structures and putting out original material is so very 20 years ago too? who actually picks up a guitar and learns how to play it these days to try and bid to become a pop star eh?

If Zack De La Rocha, Brad Wilk, Timmy C and Tom Morello bothered to mime adequately and lip-sync in time to a backing track, get a guy like Brian Friedman in to help them with some perfunctory choreography and also employ a stylist to make them look a bit more photogenic for Heat Magazine then perhaps their music would be slightly more acceptable to the many millions who have embraced Joe McElderry as their new musical Messiah.

Did any of you even watch the video? He didn't come across as arrogant at all, he seemed very laid back and basically just said RATM "wasn't his thing", and that's perfectly reasonable. The article has taken his comments completely out of context (then again, I doubt The Sun cares about things like that).
