SPOILERS perhaps?

As we all know-or thought, Lucy Saxon apparently was the one who collected the ring from the fire in series three, however the actress admitted it wasn't her in a DS interview.

So it got me thinking, what if it was Rose? I know Rose (well we think we know) doesn't have a big part in the specials, but i guess potientially it could work and no one has said it's a character we havn't seen before, so it's deffinatly someone we know.

You never know!

BTW i'm not saying this as one of the 'mad rose fans'.

I think I read a preview in the last day or so that said it IS someone we've NOT seen before, so that would rule out anyone we know, including rose.

Only speculation but as it seems likely that she was the one who picked up the Ring.

I think the ring might be a misdirection. If not then I'll wager it was collected by a character we haven't seen yet. I'll bet the Master is in alliance with whoever brought him back in the new specials, with exactly the level of success he usually has with alliances. From the Radio Times cast list, I'll guess it was Abigail Naismith.

Na the female who picked up the ring is a baddie for sure imo -not Rose.And the voice sounded old but the hand seemed to be a young womans.It will be a entity that has taken human form I think.

Maybe it Captain Jack picking the ring up wearing some kind of fettish drag outfit ha ha...

I like the idea in the opening thread that it could be rose and I think if RTD had thought of it he may well have done that story but you sense Rose only has a token small part in this story
