I would like to buy some music downloads from a site like this, but have no idea how it works. Do you need a credit card, or will the price be added to your phone bill? Thanks for any help

As far as I know, you need a credit card or a debit card. You enter your card details online and each purchase is debited from your account. With iTunes, you can buy pre-paid cards in store (either £15, £25 or £50) which you can scratch off, enter the code in the iTunes store and spend what the card was worth.
I don't recall seeing phone bills as payment options recently but I may be wrong.
You need a debit or credit card- you then enter your details. Next time you log in, all you have to enter is your email address and password- so it's worth entering all your card details, address etc... because you only have to do it once.
Then click on the mp3 store tab (on amazon.co.uk), click add to basket, then keep pressing next, confirm the purchase and it'll debit your bank account.
