Thanks - exciting lol

The confidential should be emotional and a bit special hope they have the actual final take of DT's final (recorded) scene - bet they do.

I doubt they recorded the episode in order, so I don't think the last take would have been the last scene - and even if it was he did Dreamland and the idents after!

And Sarah Jane as well. His actual last recorded line as The Doctor was nothing special at all. It was a mid-episode line about going upstairs.

Did David record the idents while Matt Smith was filming series 5 or did he do them before that just as he was leaving.

I remember RTD saying David stayed around Cardiff for a few days after finishing his scenes for TEOT , to do a few other things. These would've been the idents and 10's appearance in the SJAdvenures and were both completed in May , whilst Matt didn't start until June.

I know that i meant HIS final scene that he actually shot = not the final scene of the ep (unless of course it was the last shot lol)

His last "Doctor Who" scene was him suspended in front of a green screen or something like that. Hard to get emotional with a scene like that, David's said he finds the harnesses hugely uncomfortable.

Spoiler
Seems that as with the season 3 finale, part 1 will see The Master's plan be a complete success.
