If what I hear is correct - BBC seem to have done everything to make sure Chris won by giving him extra air time(especially on 'SCD It takes Two') since he is their golden Breakfast Boy.

And now - several people I know have just told me that dedicated Teletext watchers report that Chris Hollins was displayed as the winner on BBC Teletext Entertainment page 502 BEFORE Bruce/Tess actually announced the winner on the live show!!

If this is true - I'm totally disgusted!!

Ricky and Natalie deserved to win as they were by far the better dancers and entertainers IMHO!! - I like Ola, but I can't stand Chris's silly smug face... - Ricky and Natalie are my winners!!!(I hope they and not Chris turn up for the Christmas show and win...)

So does anyone else think that BBC have shamed themselves and perhaps rigged things?

To the OP ....Rubbish

Aside from there being a slight delay on most "live" broadcasts, the results would have been known and press releases being drafted before the final announcement. Nothing sinister in that (unless you are a Ricky fan conspriacy theorist)

Teletext????????? Does that still exist??

And maybe the reason for Chris having "more air time on ITT" is due to Ricky's 12hr shooting of Hollyoaks and him hardly having any time to train never mind do PR!

I suspect two press releases were drafted last Sunday - so tonight all they had to do was add one or two comments from the show and put it out immediately

Yeah, the BBC paid hundreds of thousands of people to vote for Chris. It's obvious really.

Can I ask a sensible question? What do the BBC gain from having a BBC employee win? And why didn't Bill Turnbull, Christine Bleakley, Matt Di Angelo, Spoony et al win?

I assume the OP meant BBC Ceefax or as it's known these days BBCi

That is very clever. Teletext has been off the air since Monday!

Grow up.....The BBC don`t give a toss who wins.....As for rigging the vote....Have you been living in a cave for the last few years....did`t you hear about the Government and regulators clamping down on tele-votes.....Do you really believe the BBC would rig a vote to ensure an employee won....and if caught what do you think the consequences would be......It would go right to the top of Government if there was the merest hint of a voting scandal

That's nothing.

I heard that Chris is using SCD as a stepping stone in his Evil Masterplan for World Domination.

It must be true. I read it on the Internet.

Now IF they were going to rig things, WHY would they advertise this on Teletext?
(Or Ceefax as it is actually called.
Teletext stopped a year or too back...)

That's what they want you to think.

Actually, it's been taken over by the Cola empire as a secret information channel.

They are, in fact, also behind the recent financial crisis.

I heard that too.
