Blimey, just looking at most of this forum is excuse enough.

Yep they obviously rigged it!

The ratings for the BBC Breakfast sports report (Monday to Thursday) are going to go through the roof now!

Their plan for total domination of sports news reporting via a Saturday night reality tv show are finally coming to fruition!

You have to develop it. Wading through masses of silly threads over a couple of years helps hone it to a fine level.

Trust me on this.

There IS still Teletext/Ceefax on the BBC - it's only on ITV, Ch4 & Ch5 that it stopped last week Monday or so.....

I'm ignoring any of the rudeness/insults about my post... - I'm really not hyper or highly-strung about entertainment shows as lots of you on here seem to be.

I was merely reporting what I had heard and wanted to obtain other people's views (as I feel the BBC does have the tendency to make bias decisions rather too often for a body to whom we pay the licence fee) - - so thanks for all the er... colourful comments.

I still do think Chris is too smug and I'm glad I won't have to see his smug face too often anymore...

I like Ola though, - & I love Natalie Lowe as I think she's rather down to earth and genuine and dignified no matter the circumstance.

I would have loved for Ricky and Natalie to win as I feel they were by far most entertaining and the obviously better dancers!!

But all in all I'm not overly bothered as I know all these vote-in shows can be rather fickle - and unlike a lot of people I actually watch more for the pro dances rather than the celeb dramas!

I'm now looking forward to the new dancing show ('So You Think You Can Dance') which starts 2nd January... - can't wait to see what that one is all about.

Aha!

The plot thickens... clearly this deserves detailed attention.

Hyper enough to start a thread about something your mate told you...

Fair enough.

My view is, it's rubbish, but entertainingly so.

Now if only you'd worked Laila's absence into the theory, that'd be cool.

There's a weird pattern developing here tonight.

People starting threads about conspiracies (because Team Cola won SCD) then coming back to assert that actually, they don't watch the series/care about the result. They just thought they would post this conspiracy theory toi see what kind of response they would get...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm starting to see a conspiracy here!!!!

Or Tuffers! Does he really have flu or is he being held hostage somewhere, tied up, gagged and being tickled to death with James Jordan's feather duster in order to prevent him (as a BBC employee) from speaking out about a BBC conspiracy?????

Plus, remember, we all know that Laila's been sacrificed to the Strictly Gods.

Yes.... it's all coming together now...

If this is true - I'm totally disgusted!!

Ricky and Natalie deserved to win as they were by far the better dancers and entertainers IMHO!! - I like Ola, but I can't stand Chris's silly smug face... - Ricky and Natalie are my winners!!!(I hope they and not Chris turn up for the Christmas show and win...)

So does anyone else think that BBC have shamed themselves and perhaps rigged things?

Please tell me I misread that bit....dedicated teletext watchers? I suppose it's a bit cold for trainspotting

Chris and Ola won fair and square. Their showdance was far better and featured a variety of dance styles, not just a series of lifts. Get over it.

LOL DavidJames - I enjoyed your childish humour.

I posted because I wanted a general idea of what people thought and not out of being hyper unlike you and some others on here.

You only need to compare the tone of some of the posts on here compared to mine - and you will note that I'm laid back about the whole issue unlike you and some others who are definitely too hyper/highly-strung!

Oh and btw, the idea behind ignoring rudeness/insults is because they really are rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

This shall be my last post on this particular thread 'cos as I've said I'm not that bothered.

I'm off to plan my Christmas dinner party menu now - toodles.... lol

And yes, despite not caring, you keep coming back to post and tell us how much you don't care.

Sounds fishy.

Could be a CONSPIRACY even.

It's not trainspotting - it's 'train enthusiasts!'

I heard they offered all the Whittle fans a free trip to Paris, then left them stranded in the Chunnel all night so they would miss the final

I heard they arranged for the snow so that fans would get stranded in cars as well!
