What a pleasant sort of person you seem. And so enlightened.

Bitter and jealous is how you come across.

Have watched the footage and she was gurning about something. It may not have been the scores but it is unfortunate timing.

I think Christina is a fantastic dancer, and so is Brian. But when they dance together, like last night, it seems to me that they lack chemistry. Does anyone else think this?

Same here, and I loved the way she went all smiley when she realised the camera was on her!

I can understand why she would. I thought it wasn't quite as good as when Chris first danced it.
In the final, the judges scores dont really seem to mean anything other than that they thought Ricky was the better dancer.

Yes, I noticed it and remarked to my husband about it....they dance very well, but that is it, interesting because they both seem quite emotional people, but maybe not with each other.

Oh good, I'm glad its not just me. I'm wondering if they only became a couple for the American version of the show, and so perhaps have no real friendship of empathy with eachother.

So what if she does? A lot of performers - dancers included - have permanent lipliner and permanent eyeliner. If for no other reason, the heat that builds up in 'real' competition makes 'normal' eyeliner and lipliner run. It's no different to someone colouring their hair. So where's the problem?

Brian and Kristina were never dance partners in the true sense of the word. They were simply put together by Strictly when both came over from US last year.

In the real comp world, Brian (as much as I really like him) would not be anywhere near good enough to compete with Kristina.

WOW that will be something!! Sparks all over the place. I read Ramp is now separated from his wife, but who knows it is correct or not!! The papers seem to print what they like lately regardless if it is true or not!! I will always remember his Tango with Karen. Fabulous.

I may be doing Christina an injustice but she comes across to me as though her career is EVERYTHING to her so I do not know how much longer this romance with the boxer will continue, now the show is over. I have been surprised how desperate some of the pro dancers are to win.!!

To me the only problem is the thought of the actual process... hope she had something to bite on!

I wouldn't like it personally as it must be a bit limiting- can't ever go for a more understated look. Although on the flip side you never have to worry about rolling out of bed, nipping to the shops, and then bumping into your ex when you're wearing no make-up!

I see that, but at the same time if it really was a showmance, you'd think she'd have been a bit more receptive to having her ears licked when the camera was pointing at her! For that reason it did come across more as the wish to avoid a PDA.

Mark has recently got back together with his wife. But I worry about him being partnered with Kristina. She does have a history, y'know, with Vincent Simone, and now with Joe. I saw she sat direct onto Joe's lap (and Joe looked positively contended that way) backstage.

Mark was only apart from his wife for 4/5 weeks and they have been together again for 2 years now.

On the dancefloor I just LOVE Kristina. She just has something that the other female dancers don't have. Her facial expressions, the figure and how she moves just does it for me. With a decent celebrity partner she'll win this show at some point.”

I agree with you. She is amazing on the the dance floor and I'm hoping that she has a decent partner next year so she can showcase her choreography. Let's face it she has been unlucky in the partner stakes so far...

I noticed Kristina cringing and shrinking back at Joe's PDA's. Also I have noticed she doesn't have any chemisty with Brian. I hope next year they give her a decent dancing partner, she deserves it.

Well, well, what a difference a year makes! Last year Kristina was this forum's sweetheart, but now she is hated. I guess the difference was a little portly man who couldn't dance very well...but loved by the public -- Be warned Ola Jordan!

I think, if Kristina's choreography was a bit classier, I'd appreciate her much more. Credit where credit's due, she did a great job with both JS and Joe.

After watching the finals again, this time in full in iplayer, I think that moment when she rolled her eyes were when Joe couldn't stop touching her inappropriately. She was sitting on his lap! Only noticed it just now!

BTW, much as I love Chris' second attempt at Charleston, I don't think it deserve a perfect 50. I mean, I would not have expected Bruno and Craig (!) to give a ten when he still didn't correct the swivel-leg movements characteristic of the Charleston. Still, I wouldn't begrudge if the other three judges flash their tens. He deserve some overmarking in the finals since he was often undermarked in his other dances during the series.
