The question is that after the article coming out will they let Ricky dance in the Christmas show? I believe its being filmed tomorrow.

I suppose all you can assume if he is cleared to dance, is that it wasn't as bad as the reporting would lead to suggest ... which wouldn't be too much of a shocker

That's the trouble about papers. Can you really believe what they say? I don't read them, get my news from tv.

Well it says today that he'll be having an op in the New Year and then is hoping to run the Marathon

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Incidentally, I would love to look like Natalie in a swimsuit, even if it was only for 1 day.

IMHO the BBC may have some legal/ insurance issues with this, if this newspaper story is at all accurate.

Accurate!!!

If it is accurate the BMJ need to be informed as soon as possible as apparently a hernia can be treated with physio

and there was me thinking that the only cure was surgical intervention !

I tell you what that Ricky Whittle's PR agent is rubbish at their job , I know there is a saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity , but I think that either Ricky has been shouting his mouth off unadvisedly to the papaers , or someone else on his behalf has been allowing the papers to print rubbish .

There was a video of his interview with the NOTW if you scroll back. I agree about the insurance issue and think this could backfire. I assumed the Christmas issue would have been done and dusted by now. Isn't it a bit late - sure it was filmed much earlier last year?

Words get twisted and misquoted ( as we see here on theboards all the time .)
Soon the hernia will be a melon sized one and after that maybe a football .!!!!

Most people out there will probably be thinking "poor brave Ricky" without thinking of the dangers he put his pro partner in. But the story could be quite different this morning if he had dropped her. She could have been very badly hurt and her career over. Or worse. Selfish? Irresponsible? Deluded? Who can say. But the outcome could have been tragic for Natalie.”

But just because we're talking about him (and to be fair, it wouldn't be that hot a topic if individuals actually believed it was genuine and not overblown; imo the reason it's been talked about for this long is because the authenticity and extent of the claims have been doubted), does that necessarily equate with the same people watching Hollyoaks as a result of it?

I'm getting off topic, so I'll stop now

On Loose Women Ricky said he was in great pain on Saturday and had lots of treatment. If not he wouldn't have been able to go on. He said that Natalie's been injured all through.

He was very gracious crediting Chris and Ola and everyone else.
