Yeah, she'll be making a complete fortune for Sony until her song/album starts to drop from the number one spot. They must have been rubbing their hands with glee when they saw Boyle Mania happening. I'm guessing that she'll go gold in MAYBE every country going. I really do think she's that popular. She'll definitely make piles of cash by the time her album starts dropping from the number one spot.

My mum has the album and I have to say I found it boring in the extreme.
I really can't see another album having anything like the success of this initial flourish

I think it is very likely that it will sell nowhere near her first album.

Of course Album #2 won't sell as much, its going to be pretty much a replica of the first with a bunch of covers with maybe the odd original song thrown on there. She'll be an album artist for sure, but as for longevity and continued success....I'm not so sure.

It kind of makes me smile, how much her life has changed. Well done to her.

What I wonder is what type of age group would by this album? I doubt anybody below about 40!

I know several people well over 40 who won't touch it with a bargepole and several well under 40 who love her.
