There was a song they always used to play on the radio (around the end of the 80s — maybe 1990).

The only lyric I can remember was it had “living in sin” in the chorus, but that may not be the title.

Before you say it, it wasn’t “Living In Sin” by Bon Jovi.

It was pop/rock with a male singer. It sounded a little bit like R.E.M. or Lightning Seeds (but it wasn’t either of them).

I wish I could find the song as I seem to remember it was quite good. Help!

Could it be Gene Simmons?

Wasn't the Kiss song of the same name, was it?

(not that they sound like R.E.M or the Lightning Seeds, then then they don't sound too similar either!)

YESSSS!

My memory did serve me correctly, it’s a great track!

I really can’t remember Electronic. (Funny name, too, for a non-electronic band!)

I probably have the song somewhere on a compilation. But I’d never have remembered the band or title. I might just think about getting one of their albums.

Thanks, Clarribo!

Wish I could say my fantastic musical memory did it but actually someone had posted pretty much exactly the same question on yahoo answers!

Well, I’ve just listened to it twice. It’s really growing on me now. The production is outstanding, and has quite an ecelctic feel to it. No doubt about it, I’m going to be buying the album.

Really? I did quite a lot of searching on Google and never came across that.

I see it now!

It has to be good - the guitar god known as Johnny Marr was involved!

Searching Google, I've been surprised by just how many songs have the lyrics "living in sin".
