Where to buy Sharp GX30
on PAYG (are they out on PAYG yet?) or sim free?
Also can you get memory storage upgrades for the phone? and do you have to run the phone off the vodafne network or does it still work using o2 if i unlock it? Thanks. |

Think Phones4U made an error, because I ordered a GX30 on Saturday on a £25/month tariff and it was free with £50 cashback, but now you have to go on at least £45/month tariff. Guess I was just lucky!

With contract phones is it always 180days then you can change to a lower tarif or do some not allow you to change at all during the 12 months?

most let you downgrade after 3 months, Orange let you down grade the same day you get the phone. not sure about Voda tho, most online sites say wait 4 months then down grade.

ARGH!
What really, REALLY p*sses me off is the fact that the GX30 would be the BEST PHONE on the market bar ONE niggle - and there is no good excuse why there should be; The Bluetooth is not data compliant! No swapping piccies & videos for free with mates! No wireless synching to a laptop! All you can have is a headset! |

No, bluetooth can only be used for headsets or carkits unfortunately, plus I couldn't believe it when I found out that you can't add words to the predictive dictionary, unbelievable! To be quite honest, I haven't been bowled over by the GX30, I would have been really annoyed if I had payed for it, take the camera away, and you are left with a mediocre phone which is a bit on the chunky side.
So iIf anybody is interested in buying a week old gx30, pm me |
