Listening to Pixie Lotts album - she has brilliant voice - the songs/singing is/are very diverse - in some she sounds like Lauryn Hill, in others like Britney Spears

litening to 'gravity' which she sings with a lisp - but she doesn't sing with a lisp in any other songs - which leads me to wonder:

Does Pixie Lott sing all her own songs?

yes she does!
i don't think many people give her enough credit for her incredible voice.

Wouldn't there be an outrage if people bought her album, only to discover someone else was singing a song on there?

Course she does. Ridiculous question.

Agree, what a stupid question.

Well it's certainly not the first time - It will not be the last time - and for sure it's happening today

Now, more than ever before in music history, the personality is more important than the voice

So far no one has convinced me (not a single fact or shred of evidence) - most have just 'guessed' - well i say listen, and 'guess' again

you simply cant lisp in one song and not in others - fact 1 - start there and tell me that's not true - tip - you'll need to listen to find out

i suspect she is singing (just to answer critics), but her vocals are all but silenced and some session singer is actually singing lead vocal - different singer for each song

Hello

She's terrible live.

Adele isn't quaking in her boots.

She has a great look though.

Ha ha I have a vision now of someone buying Pixie Lotts album. Track 1 starts all upbeat and what not and then Dick Van Dyke starts to sing

Somehow it doesn't suprise me - sorta confirms my suspicion

Yet she (or someone) has amazing singing voice on the album

I think something will pop up in the press soon

She sounds good on record but she is often very bad live, especially when singing uptempo songs like Boys and Girls, but when she does slower songs and more stripped-back performances - that's when she shines.

She's defo got a good voice - she auditioned for that Britannia High show and her acting was the only thing that let her down - there must be clips of her singing on youtube somewhere.

Only singer I've ever known (apart from X-factor types) who releases an album without doing a tour. Maybe she didn't own enough pairs of sequined knickers.

she's too busy promoting stuff e.g. film in la, music in america, phone thingy collection!
she also has to go to many events and stuff. i'm sure the tour will come in the near future.
well thats what i'm hoping

Or maybe i'm totally right and she doesn't/can't sign her own stuff - it's just manufactured with session signers in the studio

Again supports my suspicions

In answer to your question OP, no, she doesn't sing all of her songs.
Spoiler
I sing them.

And that's the truth of the matter

I don't think any singer sings all of there own songs. Surely all must do cover versions at some point or another

(This includes the Pixie, who has someone doing a cover of "Use Somebody" on the digital deluxe version of "her" album)

But honestly, don't try to insult Pixie a lot - "she" has a song on "her" album named after me

I don't hear a lisp. She sounds almost exactly the same live as she does on track.

I think you're confused - i'm talking about singing not writing

I remember reading a blind item ages ago about a well known singer who alledgedly didn't sing any of her own songs, they were all recorded by somebody else. I have no idea if thats true or not, and it certainly wasn't about Pixie, just something that came to mind reading this thread.

eta: if she had a lisp then maybe she had speech therapy to get rid of it.

It's true. If you look around the truth is definitely out there. Ask Ben Affleck maybe.
