What is wrong with the UK?

Rage against the machine is utter turd and not a festive christmas number one.

X Factor, ALL the songs so far have been about miricles, climbing over mountains, singing halleluigh and waiting for a moment like this! Its processed reguritated pap.

There has not been a decent number one in this country since 2001. Robbie and Nicole was cheesy and semi festive. Since then we've had mad world (razor / noose anyone?) and band aid covered for the 3rd time which happens to be about starving orphins.

Come on UK. Get a grip for next year. Don't let radio campaigns, or television programs dictate who is top of the charts. YOU are a person. YOU are in control. Not the media.

Don't let anything dictate what tops the chart, but make sure it meets your approval. Bravo.

YOU are a person. YOU are in control.

Which is why I won't be letting you tell me what to do.

"You're all individuals"

"Yes! We're all individuals!"
"I'm not"

Judging by all the posts and topics that the OP has started about the Xmas No. 1, it seems s/he is obsessed about Rage Against the Machine. Guilty pleasure?

It shows how desperate someone is to prove a "point" when they trawl through people's posting history to cause an argument and *try* to make themselves look clever...

To be fair, diddums, I didn't have to search through his posting history (nor have I), I just read the posts on the first page of the Music section of this board, and his name sprang up quite often.

Someone tells you something- you think it's a good idea, so you go and buy it...

Why do people seem to think this means you have no control?

You chose to buy it didn't you? In a similar way, I might see an advert and decide to buy that product- nobody had a gun to my head...

Edit: And the biggest irony of this thread, is that the OP is trying to dictate to people what to buy, probably without realising
