Sonic Youth when Kim Gordon sings (OK, not all of their songs are sung by her, but it's about half of them... and she's the bass player).

My favourite band, Paramore. Hayley Williams has a brilliant voice.

Thank god you mentioned WT.

Saw them live a couple of years back, an absolutely cracking band, and Sharon Den Adel possibly has one of the strongest voices in the business.

Angtoria are another good one, and by extension when she plays with them Cradle of Filth are truly stunning.

I didn't like their new album though. Preferred The Silent Force.

Same with Lacuna Coil. Prefer their old albums- Comalies, Unleashed Memories etc...

They've already been said but Jefferson Airplane are great.

And what about The Plastic Ono Band? Co-fronted by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, but nowadays obviously just Yoko. Has had various backing bands that have included Keith Moon, Nicky Hopkins, Phil Spector, Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and more recently Sean Lennon and Mark Ronson.

No, not 'If it was Good enough for Cobain and Coogan'. Hole are a perfectly good band in their own right.

I agree...which is why I included them. I was, in fact, referring to the fact that both Cobain and Coogan have enjoyed Courtney Love's 'hole'. Geddit yet?
Yep, them too, also the Breeders.

A band I did see in the early/mid nineties had two female vocalists/guitarists: Tsunami. I went to the gig to see The Auteurs, but came from that gig really liking Tsunami, the support act.
