Does anyone else find that the Remote response and positioning is really poor on the HD box in comparison to the old + boxes? What I mean by that is that you have to point the remote right at the box and even then it sometimes doesn't respond to number presses

Mine's an Amstrad, but I had the same issue with my Pace. (Didn't change the remote when the box changed).

If anyone else agrees / disagrees with the comparison please give me a shout, as it could be the remote...

Mine is fine its a Pace Version 3005 so maybe they have fixed the problem

Just tried my old Sky+ remote with my HD box and it's ten times better - also tried my mates' HD remote on his box and it's much better; I must have dropped it once too many times.

Better find myself the cheapest place to find a new remote...
