I think it was a couple of weeks ago on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, they were talking about Michael Buble, and they came to the conclusion that he's the man that your girfriend, mother and sister would all leave you for, and at the end of it, you'd still think he was an okay guy. Too true!

I don't understand the man crush thing. Can someone explain to me what exactly it is about?

I can understand wanting to look like someone, or having a great deal of respect for them, but having a crush on them if you're straight seems odd!

It's not that weird. Loads of people I know are like it. My cousin absolutely adores Audrey Kitching, keeps banging on about how beautiful she is and how she is perfect in every single way, but believe me she isn't gay!

And a lot of straight guys in my school have guy crushes on the likes of Olly Murs, Robert Pattinson, various footballers, Ricky Whittle, Gino D'Acampio and Stewart Manning, to name but a few.

I think it would be impossible to find any one person on the planet who didn't have even one tiny particle or cell attracted to Buble. He is absolutely gorgeous!

Reggie Yates has been saying this for weeks on the chart show! There's just something about Buble isn't there?

Did anyone hear him chatting to Greg James on Radio 1 last week? He spoke really well about his music and what it means to him and others, it was one of those interviews where you kind of felt compelled to listen to everything he was saying, really good.

Well actually, it is a bit weird if you think about it I'm sure many straight women and gay guys would agree with you about Buble, but straight men? Hmm... You may know loads of straight men, that fancy other men, but I don't know anyone like that! I would presume they were gay or bisexual by definition.

You do realise, if these guys are actually straight, they're probably just being ostentatious, tongue in cheek or light hearted?- trying to get a bit of attention from you by leveling with you perhaps?- they probably fancy you!

No, you've got it all wrong! I probably didn't really state what I meant clearly.

What I meant is that loads of guys at school have tried copying their style, and have chosen those sort of people if they were to go for a guy, are a constant talking point, saying "so and so is a sexy guy, I won't lie." That kind of thing. A crush is different to fancying someone, or so I've always thought. Believe me, these guys are as straight as your gonna get, they probably only mean it jokingly, but they do it quite a lot.

A bit like how a lot of the girls in my year obsess over the likes of Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Alesha Dixon etc...

Fantastic - common ground established as I appear to be in the same boat as yourself in not quite getting the Robert Pattinson thing either. To me he seems to have a bit of a scruffy Art student look going on but there we go!

Whilst I don't exactly find myself drooling over Taylor Lautner either, I can see why a lot of people would find someone like him attractive. Taylor does have quite an exotic look about him, especially in comparison to Robert Pattinson.

I've always thought Taylor Lautner has the face of a sultana. But then again I don't like the six pack look, I like the geeky, indie look. Then again I am a rather warped individual
