I really cant believe I am starting one of these threads but I have been watching Katya over the last 3 or 4 weeks and she suddenly seems to have no waist......she isnt fat so this isnt one of those sort of threads but she definatly has suddenly lost her waist...which happens when you first show signs of pregnancy.......she also says on twitter that she has been sick for a few days so I was just wondering.......is it just me or has anyone else noticed.
Is Katya pregnant. I know dont shout.

I think you're right OP!
In her last couple of dances with Tuffers she had grown a slightly rounded stomach and seemed dressed to cover it, on the final she definately had a 'thick waist' and wore a one-piece outfit rather than a two-piece.
Not suggesting there's anything 'wrong' with a rounded stomach, but she was definately a different shape than she had been at the start of the series, and unusually rounded for a pro dancer. Me and mother took to shouting "pregnant" everytime she came on screen!
Didn't have the guts to post the question up here though, as I didn't want the usual catty comments that come when you suggest a dancer is pregnant..

Come to think of it ... my waist has disappeared, my stomach is rounder and I have been being sick for a couple of days
.OP, I did notice she was bigger than before (yet not BIG, I must emphasise!!!!!) but I just assumed that her training schedule was less demanding and so she had put on a smidgen of weight (as in going from skinny... to thin). I put on weight on my stomach and bum surprisingly fast when I go from dancing loads to not much or not at all and when I first saw her on Saturday, I just thought that was what it was. But you might be right ... time will tell.
I am a long standing poster on the DS and I know how the pregnanacy thing is drided which stopped me posting before......this has nothing to do with Katya looking fatter etc etc sh has just suddenly gone very straight up and down and her waist has gone........have a look at the group dance with Rachel and Lisa if you dont know what I mean. I certainly never noticed it when she was dancing in teh main compitition its something that has happened during the last 2 or 3 weeks. A 'thickening waist' rather than a bump is often the first signs of being pregnant.
that means she wont be back next year, no loss as she is not one of my favourites, what a cute baby she will have but whos the daddy?
