Apparently this year we will be able to choose out of a list of 20 contestants which 12 go into the house. I hope this is true, hopefully it will limit the amount of total bores in BB5.

Where does it say this? I haven't had a chance to check the papers this morning, so I'd quite like to know!

Bearing in mind the calibre of winner we've suffered recently, I'd be disappointed if this turned out to be true. I don't trust the masses! Why can't the production team just do their bloody job?!

They did that on FA2, and that was not nearly as good as FA1, as they are both made by Endemol I can see it happening, pony I agree with your view, the GBP will put the "nice" people in and we won't even get to see any of the more interesting contestants.

No doubt we'll see 20 hopefuls making false promises, ala Josh (BB2) promising to spice things up. This sounds like a terrible idea to me - the public will vote in nice and hollow-headed "fit" people.

It is only the Daily Star reporting it so I hope it is a fair assumtion that this is bullsh*t.

what i dont believe it we have a chance to vote people in i suspect its like when we are supposed to have a vote on who stays it will be fixed.

It could be fatal. It worked on FA2 as they had to sing to get in which seemed appropriate to a singing competition - produced a better more talented group imho than FA1. BB is an endurance show that needs competition and tension though and you can't see that in 5 minutes. I suspect that Jade, Alex, Jon Tickle, Justine, Tim and most of the black housemates would never get in on a public vote wheras Gos- and Scott and Cameron probably would.,
