I think she's great and very underrated. For some reason she doesn't seem to get half the attention from the media that people like Lady Ga Ga gets. I thought her single 'New In Town' was excellent. Also when I've seen her interviewed she comes across as very normal and friendly.

Anyone else out there like her.

I think she's good but makes no effort. I mean, have you seen the videos for Remedy and Earthquake? So incredibly cheap. Also, I don't really see her promoting her music very much.

Makes no effort??. I would think she promotes her music just as much as anyone.
I've just watched the video to Earthquake. I wouldn't say it looks cheap, it's just a video.

I don't really know anything about her or her music, but with regards to promotion, that might just be due to her label. It costs money etc.

She works harder than anyone else this year.. over 100 gigs easily.. If u follow her on twitter shes always working non stop. Im sure her and her record label will learn from this years mistakes.

I think the problem for Little Boots was over hype before she got off the ground. The Sound of 2010 had her as number one and the BBC was blowing her trumpet at every moment possible. Out of all the new British acts she got the biggest push from Radio 1. This led to people expecting miracles, which in many peoples opinion didn't surface. I still prefer to Gaga and a lot of others. But I don't think she's really put out many pop hits that really grab the listener, Remedy seemed to be doing well for a while. Whilst the album is a good solid one, I just find her a bit more bland than Florence and the Machine, Empire of the Sun and La Roux!

I agree: I went to see Boots at the end of October on her tour and really didnt enjoy it. In fact, I enjoyed the support acts (Ellie Goulding?! ) a lot more.

I do love Little Boots songs, but on stage there just isn't anything there, which is a shame.

ahh, ellie's lovely

as most people are inclined to assume, it may be all her record company's fault.

but i don't think that's the reason why she doesn't get the same publicity and critical acclaim that lady gaga does.

I disagree, I saw Little Boots at Latitude this year and she was great live, one of the highlights of the festival.

She played on a really small stage and it was absolutely packed, and she put on a great show and sounded really good - she spent most of the set dancing around like a complete nutter as well, which was kinda funny and very different to how I'd expected her to be.

I'm not actually that much a fan of her music but I thought she was very good live.

there was a thread about little boots a couple of months ago and the main arguing point there was whether she's any good live.

I like Little Boots music, downloaded her album when it came out in June and love it. Play Remedy an awful low (tho thats because I associated the song with someone who annoys me ) She's pretty good, much better than anyone off the X Factor (and she writes her own songs)

I've read a lot of people saying that but I enjoyed her when she played in Edinburgh. Maybe it was just a fluke for us and she was good or something but she did get the crowd going.

But I do agree about Ellie, I enjoyed her more than Little Boots. So much more in fact I've already got tickets to see her twice next year

About her songs? Each to their own I guess. Just listening to Remedy (again) as I type this. Who do you think Little Boots is singing to in the song? Me and my friends were wondering about it.

no, not her songs - i actually like a few of them if i'm being honest

the part about being so much more talented than x factor acts and their ilk. i'm not particularly a fan of any x factor winners but i can recognise the talent of someone like leona regardless of whether i like the actual music she makes.

but like you said, each to their own.

I love Earthquake. I can't believe it only got to number 84, especially as it was A-listed by Radio 1. Maybe her problems just that she's been eclipsed by La Roux, seeing as they've both got the same kind of synth pop sound. I personally think La Roux's album is better, it sounds a lot more polished and its got some stronger singles on it. I do like Little Boot's album too but I don't think its got such a strong sound to it.

I'm a massive Little Boots fan But the media like weird. Gaga is weird. Little Boots is a normal girl. Which is why nobody writes about her
