Siobhan (easily the best vocalist the group has had)
Mutya Jade Keisha Amelle Heidi (clearly the weakest. Not much vocal range, always plays it safe) I fear not many will understand how great a vocalist Siobhan really is. They need to hear her sing on "There's A Place", "Medevac" and a few others from that 'Ghosts' record. |

I would say
Mutya Keisha Amelle Jade Siobhan Heidi Heidi can't sing personally. Amelle is keeping the band afloat with her voice now. |

I thought I'd dig out this Pitchfork review, which compares and contextualises the Sugababes and Girls Aloud greatest hits records from 2006. It's relevant to some of the other threads on the first couple of pages too but I'll post it here. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/...ud-overloaded/ The whole thing is an interesting read, but note this paragraph on the Sugababes vocals: Quote:
Initially dominated by the indie fragility of Siobhan Donaghy, the Sugababes only really hit their stride after her sudden exit following their first (and weakest) album One Touch, whose hesitant r&b-for-bedsits at least resulted in fantastically winsome singles. The reformed lineup was more confident and expansive, powered by its delicate balancing of Keisha Buchanan's sweet clarity, Siobhan-replacement Heidi Range's trembling diva grandeur, and the unadorned husky simplicity of the recently departed Mutya Buena, whom Xenomania's Brian Higgins claimed (perhaps correctly) was the UK's finest pop vocalist since Dusty Springfield.

I don't know what all of them are really like, however:
I once heard Mutya sing live, when she was on Big Brother, and she was VERY good. I was really impressed. The HMs had some sort of singing competition, and there were a few other singers on there who did pretty badly, but Mutya was leagues better than the rest of them. Also, I saw a youtube video of Amelle and Tinchy doing an 'a capella' version of Never Leave You, and I was very impressed by Amelle's singing there too. And I know Jade is a decent singer. |

1. Mutya
2. Heidi 3. Keisha 4. Siobhan (Kind of sounds like a chipmunk on the first album) 5. Jade/Amelle (One has a boring voice, the other's just a rubbish version of Mutya) |

Does anyone else wish all 6 would form together to create a supergroup?

Mutya was the voice of the group so it's clear why she is top of some of the lists. I was listening to their greatest hits earlier and it never occured to me how much she took lead in the group.
