Yes we buy the mini Bovrils which come included with mini cups. It's always nice to have a Bovril especially when it's cold outside.
My dad tells me he remembers dipping bread into a mug of Bovril when he was younger, as if it where gravy

I like to add Bovril to my cooking, such as cottage pie, stews etc, gives them great depth of flavour. Not so keen on it in a mug though.

Bovril is a good hot drink. It goes quite well in gravy to spice up normal gravy granules.

Good on toast.
Good alternative if you are like me and don't like Marmite. |

I've got out of the habit of having an occasional mug of Bovril for some reason. Must try to remember it.
I got a jar of chicken Bovril a while back - maybe that put me off as it isn't very good.

My dad used to go to our local B&M store which had the small Bovril packs with the small cups inside. I think they sold them in packs of 20 cups per packet. I'm not sure if they sell them anymore though as my dad now gets the Bovril cubes instead

![]() I used to do it with Oxo (bread dipping) and very occasionally still do.
