The Best Albums of The Noughties: Your Top Ten
Number two and number one were a very close call:
1. Lady Gaga: The Fame Monster: Deluxe Edition A great fusion of diverse pop music. 2. Rihanna: Rated R A clever moudling of pop rock ballads, and uptempo pop rock songs with a spalsh of r'nb and hip hop. 3.Paloma Faith: Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful A lovely re-capturing of the sounds of 50s and 60s. 4. Amy Winehouse: Back To Black A modern twist on Old Skool soul. 5. Little Boots: Hands A wonderful blend of Electropop beats. 6. Beyonce: B' Day A diverse mix of soul and r'n'b with a twist. 7. Kelly Clarkson: All I Ever Wanted A rather different style of pop. 8. Madonna: Confessions On A Dancefloor A modern madonna twist on the sounds of Disco. 9. Sugababes: Catfights and Spotlights A masterpiece of ballads and unique pop. 10. Mariah Carey: Emancipation Of Mimi A great blend of 80s and 90s soul and r'n'b music with a twist. What's yours?
