Emu Boots
I have a pair of Ugg's which I love but am thinking of getting a pair of Emu boots, does anyone have any? How do they compare to Ugg's? They seem to be a fair bit cheaper but I don't want to buy them and wish I'd saved up a bit longer for Ugg's. Thanks

i've got 3 pairs of EMUs, its early days in my ownership, but they are very nice, i can't compare them to Uggs as i have never owned or worn them
but as they are a third of the price, its worth trying them out i got 2 pairs of mine from here http://www.uggbootshop.co.uk/ you might have to go down a size especially if your a half size |

Thanks Rich, I think I'm going to try to find a shop that sells them so I can try them on, I'm very tempted to get some but am just worried they won't last as long as my Ugg's.

i can't see them not lasting the same sort of time that Uggs last, as long as they are looked after i think you will be hard pushed to find a shop selling EMU boots, but you never know from my experience, the Bronte lows are a bit big, and go bigger with use, so go down a size some online sites ask you to measure your bare foot then you can compare it with their sizing chart and pick the right size |

I got some in TK Maxx once. I like them but I've never had Uggs to compare them to.

Thanks everyone, I have been doing some research online and they sell them in Jones shoe shop so I'm going to go and try some on and hopefully buy them this week!

Funnily enough... QVC have a special on some stinger hi boots I think? I just went to look, and did some research, and apparently uggbootshop (as mentioned above) is a fake. But its just what I read from google... Anyway, I've ended up buying some emu boots from qvc... hi ones in black, £118 but you can pay in two installments... Oh and they have a 30 day guarantee, so even if you have worn them for a month you can still send them back!!
Cant wait for them to get here now! |

Well it might not be true... I looked on a website which sold them, which gave a long list of fake sites. That one was on the list, but the original website itself might have been selling fakes and just trying to make people think they were selling originals by calling any others fake!
To be honest though... I decided I wouldnt want to take the chance of getting fake ones and being disappointed, so I went for the tsv on QVC, so I know they are real and I can pay in two installments! |

Im a guy who wears EMU Ugg boots (the tall and short stingers in chestnut) and got them from uggbootshop. They are not Ugg Uggs, but very similar and comfy.

If they were a LOT cheaper, I'd probably have gone for them, but the ones I was looking at were only about 20 quid cheaper than the ones on QVC, and I'd rather pay the extra 20 quid for authenticity!

I don't know about the authenticity of the emu boots, but I do know that this site does not sell genuine uggs.

I've got my Emu boots! I ordered them online and they came yesterday, they are the tall tan stinger ones and they are lovely and really warm. I would definitely recommend them

I've just ordered my 3rd pair of Emu boots, the classic tall in tan.
Are there any other guy Emu wearers here except me and Rich? |

I have Emus and they are very cosy and comfy. I have never had Uggs but I have read a lot of reviews saying that Emus hold their shape better than Uggs. I love mine.
