Hi does anyone have the following problem with Humax PVR and know how to solve it?

Recorded programmes don't show the chapter stills nor put them as a file image ...until 24 hours or so after the recording and then they just appear somehow. Is this normal? The Humax helpline couldn't offer any explanantions and weren't at all helpful.

I believe that the HDR creats the thumbnails during its overnight housekeeping session.

Shame the helpline didn't know that. Perhaps I wasn't expressing myself clearly.

In addition I have to say I find the manual not helpful either - when I was quoting a page to them on another issue - (I can't see the bookmark bar pictured on page 69) they simply said it was a mis-print!

The screen grabs in the manual aren't clear either I need a magnifying glass.

I'm also having difficulty getting the Humax to 'see' my MP3 player...I feel another thread coming on...

Thank goodness for this community and such helpful people. The manufacturers should learn a lot by joining in.
