Mine would have to be at the Human Rights Now Amnesty International concert at Wembley in 1988. It was held to raise awareness of Amnesty International and political prisoners throughout the world.

It started off with Youssou N'Dour the brilliant Senegalese singer.
Then there was Tracy Chapman singing Talkin' Bout a Revolution.
She was followed by Peter Gabriel with Games Without Frontiers and Biko.
Next was Sting with Set Them Free.

And finally, after a long, long wait came The Boss, Bruce Springsteen. Singing Born in the USA!

Dragonforce concert for the Ultra Beatdown tour.

Someone threw a 50p coin at ZP and he picked it up put it in his pocket and went "Thanks, looks like we are getting paid again".

Next thing you know half the crowd gets money out and launches it at ZP, some hits looked like they proper hurt but he took it in jest. The band were cracking up though and I swear come the end of the concert there was probably a couple of hundred quid on the floor there were that many coins.

Girls Aloud Out Of Control tour.

Cheryl's pathetic attempts at "singing".

I had the misfortune to be in the crowd at a Kate Nash show.

The only good bit of the night, Kate introduces her guitarist.

"This is Steve, he plays with me!"

Cue laughter from the crowd.

At a Will Young concert in Brighton two years ago - everyone up and dancing apart from one woman who stayed firmly in her seat although she couldn't see a thing!

Not as bad as two of my friends! They went to see Fall Out Boy earlier this year at the o2, and their mums went with them because they didn't want to let them in the o2 by themselves (they were 15 though), and they told me that they were up, singing and jumping, their mums sat firmly in their seats.

And then they went to see Green Day and had tickets for the mosh pit, their mums went with them, and stood there with folded arms! What a waste of tickets  (for GD, not FOB!)

Westlife's last tour, one of the Wembley shows (yeah, yeah, it's Westlife, I know..)

They're usually very professional during shows, but this show they seemed different, they were just silly.

Nicky Byrne was showing off his 'party trick', lying on the stage and catching Maltesers.

At one point someone threw a Man Utd hat on stage, Kian Egan threw it at Nicky (who supports Man Utd), who wore it for a while, then hung it over his microphone.

I can't even remember what else happened, they were just laughing and talking for ages. At one point Nicky said 'Is anyone here getting a train home? Well, you're gonna miss it!' They actually ran over the end of the show because they were messing about so much!

It was fun.

I wasn't at this concert personally (obviously!) but I've seen clips...

Britney during her Circus Tour. She's overheard on her mic backstage shouting "Oh my God! My p***y was hanging out for that song!"

I know, it's shocking isn't it? .... Her mic was ON!

I went to see Anastacia in Wembley a few years back and just before she sang "Left Outside Alone" they showed a video on the screen of a bunch of people they'd approached in London that day, singing the operatic introduction part of the song ("All my life I've been waiting..."). Some were very clearly taking the piss, but it was hilarious and Anastacia was laughing along

At a recent Skunk Anansie gig in Manchester.

There was a breakdown in the song and Skin tried to get the audience to shut up by "shushing". One person wouldn't shut up so she stopped everything and shouted "will you shut the f*ck up" and the crowd laughed.

Spoiled the song but was really funny.

Perhaps you had to be there

It is daft going to a concert and not getting up and dancing or even just swaying if you haven't got room to dance. I am 73 and I don't sit down except when everyone else does.

Another funny concert - funny peculiar not ha ha - was at Kenwood where we had to sit in deck chairs and Will was on the stage with a lake in between him and audience. Most odd!

I remember watching the news years ago (around 20 or so) and there being an item about a stage collapsing, sending the orchestra crashing into the depths below, all on live VT. That was the funniest concert-related thing I've ever seen.

Take That's Circus tour: Howard, Jason and Mark all come on demonstrating (very well) their unicycling skills, then about a minute later Gary arrives on a Tricycle, what made me laugh the most was the conclusion my friend came to that he was too unathletic to learn Bless! After that, any time he walked while the others ran was also quite funny.

My funniest memory at a concert probably has to be when I went along to see The Beautiful South at Bath Pavillion in 1998. The band came on stage and after about 10 minutes, Dave Hemingway suddenly ran off stage. Fortunately at the time Paul Heaton was the lead vocalist on the song that the band were playing. During the following song, Dave came back on stage and within about 2 minutes had prompty run off again.

Paul Heaton spoke to the crowd in between songs and was in the middle of telling a story about one of the tracks on the new album when he stopped mid sentence and announced, "oh by the way, Dave keeps running off stage to vomit so apologies on his behalf" or something to that effect. A tad more than we needed to know but it certainly got the crowd laughing.

At Girls Aloud's tour in 2008, there was this awful boyband as a support act,I can't even remember their name but they were awful. The funniest bit came when they tried the panto "My half of the audience do this..." ""My half of the audience do that!" thing and only about a quarter of the arena,at the most, bothered to join in. I wasn't one of them, either.

At a concert in my extreme youth Den Heggarty of 'Darts' sand an incredibly funny blue's spoof called 'My Baby's Head' and climbed up the side of the stage, and round the boxes whilst singing it. This was at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Crazy and very funny, the whole thing. Wouldn't happen now though.

Hehe, I loved that too!

I do love Gary Barlow for that - even when he's doing the basic dance routines with them he's usually slightly out of time. It just amuses me, he's got perfect rhythm and timing with singing and piano, but make him dance and he just can't do it.

Not a concert, but a few years ago the godawful old metal band (and I say that as an oldschool rocker myself!) Saxon decided to have a bash at getting the guinness world simultaneous air guitar record, at half time during a Sheffield Wednesday vs Sunderland game.

There were nearly 30k in the ground, and as Saxon tunelessly stumbled around the centre circle there must have been about 4 people in the entire stadium actually joining in - and they still had the cheek to walk off claiming they'd broken the record!
