Apparently she has a new album out in March. It's been three years since The Best Damn Thing was released.

God, I remember 'Girlfriend' was all over the music channels at the time. Loved 'When You're Gone' and 'Hot' as well.

I am, if her album makes number one, her first four albums would have gone to number one, I don't think any other female artist has acheived that, Norah Jones has 3 like Avril does at the moment but Norah's 4th album didn't chart that high

Can't bloody wait!! I really think this album, from what's been said already, will be the best of her career so far.

And hopefully she'll tour next year aswell, brilliant live. But she's a very underated lyricist imo!!

I love Avril! Originally I think she was meant to be releasing new material around now, but I'm hoping it's worth the extra wait

I loved her first 2 albums, I put them in my top 10 best albums of the decade but her last album was a pile of stinking rubbish. Probably the biggest letdown I have experienced in terms of expectation from an artist I like.

So I wouldn't say I am looking forward to it, as if it is more of the same then it will be pants. I am cautiously aware though. Like a deer who is coming to graze on fine pasture in a risky area, I am edging towards it but know it is dangerous and am ready to bolt in a second.

I liked her second album but as long as her new stuff isnt like Girlfriend then im looking forward to it!

I liked 'I'm with you' and 'Nobodys Home'.

Yep, I remember reading an interview with her a few months ago and she was saying it's acoustic and more about her voice. Sounds very promising, because she does have a fantastic voice, but doesn't always show it especially with some of the songs on The Best Damn Thing.

I so cannot wait! Avril is one of my fave aritists and im eagerly awaiting her next album.

I thought her most recent album was utter tripe minus a couple of the slower songs so not really, unless she turns it around and makes music for people older than 13 this time.
