Amelle, Heidi 'quit band, not Keisha'

I find this story very believable. Would a record label and management be willing to replace 2 members instead of 1? That one member would end up getting crucified for driving away all the others! Ditching Keisha and replacing her instead was clearly the best option for everyone. If they had let Amelle and Heidi go then Keisha would've been absolutely ripped apart by the media. Of course, the fact that she was the last original member and then she was gone did look very bad but then can you imagine how bad it would've looked if Amelle and Heidi had actually quit?

You could say they should've just pulled the plug on the whole group but then from a business point of view, they'd had so much invested on them at that point to just throw it all away. New album, big producers, new record contract in America etc.

And quite clearly, neither Heidi or Amelle were tired of being Sugababes which is now why they are continuing. We'll never know the real reasons why it got to that point but well, it must be bad if 1 person was able to lead 2 others to quitting their jobs and stop doing something they clearly loved doing.

I agree with this. There were a few times when Amelle just didn't turn up and it was just Keisha and Heidi on stage - so to say Heidi left doesn't ring true. It seems that she just stabbed Keisha in the back.

Perspective, people.

Keisha was quite clearly a cow, if her bandmates, management AND tour band all turned on her.

It's not even like it was an easy decision for them to make: if she wasn't a complete and utter "battle axe" (to quote Virgin Media), and actually tolerable, they'd have waited it out a few months, released Sweet 7 as planned, then booted her and re-released the album with Jade or whoever.

But no. She was a thorn in their sides that needed to be yanked out immediately. After the new album was finalised and sent to print, and during production of their lead single's music video.

Single-handedly the most expensive decision the Powers that Be could have made, because the entire album needed re-recording, and tens-of-thousands of already published copies needed to be binned, making an already expensive album even more expensive.

Keisha must have been really bad for them to go through with it.

Now, I actually really like Keisha, I think she's awesome and incredibly talented. But clearly being in a band is not her forte, so solo artist it is...

What trash, she has never spoken about the event, and what happened since the initial interview! She has only ever talked about wanting to protect young girls and getting behind the cause to protect. She's an icon and that is expected, to become an advocate!

Show me evidence of when she has the discussed the photo again and struggling for consciousness, or CB having no soul in his eyes! Exactly, there are none apart from with Diane Sawyer!

There is a huge distinction here, these girls come out with these sound bites every week.....does Rihanna say CB bit me by the door or he threw me with such a rage i was scared for my life, every week....NOOOOO

OH PLEASE.

this is nothing more than a reharsh of the interview they gave out in September. They haven't spoken of Keshia since and it is DS who put the story up late.

So back off talking shite about the babes when a simple search would show you that this 'info' was revealed nearly 3 months back and is not from a 'new' interview.

Lol!

This recent one was in OK! this week (go buy a copy lol), the others range from Star, New , Grazcia, bloody loads of different mags....so did they do all these months ago? They sat everyone down did one big interview with these mags and the mags all chose alternate weeks to release different tit-bits without the girls' consent?!!

Oh please, if that was the case, they should write a statement on their website, simply saying "They said these things months ago and want to draw a line under it!" Funny how they haven't!

I look forward to next week in Hello " Amelle: I felt my confidence levels draining by the day...it was so difficult!"
