Difference between Philips 42PFL7404 - 42PFL7404H and 42PFL7404H/12 ?
Hi,
I'm looking at this LCD TV, but I dont know what the difference is between these models (apart from the price!): 42PFL7404 - 42PFL7404H and 42PFL7404H/12 Are they just hardware revisions? I can get the H version for £630 from M&S, the other two are around the 700 quid mark. Any info will be appreciated Thanks |

The H means it has an MPEG4 decoder. The number after the stroke refers to the country or region it is destined for. UK is generally 05 or 25, Ireland is 07, Australia is 75 etc. Don't know what 12 is but I guess it is for a European region including the UK.
I guess all those models are the same, some dealers are not quoting the full model number. Look at the label on the back or the box. I see no reason not to buy Philips. I've got 2 and they are no problem. |
