Michael Jackson
I really couldn't care less about his dancing, music videos or his stage presence. I know he is a very good dancer, but I was never into that or his shows. *Shocking* . For me, I only cared about his vocal ability, which I liked alot and had huge admiration for. The same applies with Beyonce. I'm only interested in her voice. The dancing, videos etc don't really interest me.

Mariah Carey
I'm a huge fan of her but I really don't care about her whistle register or her runs. I personally just like her ability to belt really high with an open resonating sound (which IMO gets overshadowed by the gymnastics), and the tone of her voice. I also like her alot for her songs themselves and her songwriting.

Alicia Keys
I'm indifferent to her piano playing, eventhough I know she is very talented at it. I like her songs and her voice more.

Destiny's Child
Don't really care for their choreography - I like their harmonies and vocal ability 1000x more.

What are your's?

Lady Gaga - I admire her "I don't care" attitude, she's individualistic and stands up for the minority.

I don't care about how anyone dances (in fact, I don't think I like anyone who does choreographed dance).

I like Skunk Anansie because Skin is an absolutely amazing performer. It's so full of raw energy. She doesn't dance or sing songs about pretty things.

I like Bjork as an all rounder; great creativity both in her music, her performances, her videos and most of the other stuff she does.

I like Peaches because she is filthy.

I like Yeah Yeah Yeahs because Karen O has a pretty unique voice. Some people dislike it, but I think it's awesome. I rarely like polished singing. It gets boring (Leona, Mariah, Whitney etc do nothing for me)

I like Bat For Lashes, mainly, for her songs. They always create a vision (the music is awesome as well). I love how her songs always take you somewhere and it's more than just listening to the music.
