I am sure they will not do this but the reason I also hope so is that the two Survivor programmes showed too great a loyalty to the original bonded group.
Survivor 1-it was only because the bad Charlotte was thought to be out of it that the first group let her hang on as they all started falling out.
In Survivor 2 it was awful and the two equal groups of 4 were only split by a crazy biased tie break that gave power to one group and they just voted the other group off one by one.
So a definite NO to this.

i did read somewhere that they nay have one big Bedroom -this is fine for us-torture for them.
Better is two bedrooms but mixed-even by lots or picking alternate B/G on night one -that might be quite interesting.
My heart dropped when the girls grabbed one room in BB4-and made it theirs-it set a bad tone for the whole early weeks-they went for comfort not excitement.Hell it's only 9 weeks max.

By the way they are definitely going for a repeat of BB3 this year.

If there is 2 bedrooms they will ALWAYS split by sexes unless they are told they can't (draw by lot or something) it's just the way it goes. If you are a loner the only group you can belong to is the same sex group.

I quite like the way the bedrooms are set up now, we get the gossiping, the sneaking when people are alone. I don't think we'd get that if there was just one bedroom. You can hide in the garden etc but things relax more at night.
And if theres 2 houses it'll be the same thing.

The one thing I want more than anything else is tasks. Task, tasks tasks, they need to be kept occupied by BB. Kewpee is right in one way, they actually did stuff back in BB2. And with no books or magazines they need to be give stuff to do.
If they ignore this bit like they did last year it's going to suck again.

This is where I am going to be even handed and agree and disagree with you Vilt.

The one bedroom scenario would be excellent, apart from anything there would be one less place to hide or take a time out in. This of course would keep the pressure up on the HM's and as you say would be torture for them...great for the watching public tho!

I have to disagree with you over the 2 bedroom concept even if it is mixed by lots or similar, it would still give HM's somewhere else to get away during the day.

Of course there could be a downside to the one bedroom concept and that is that it could bring them together as a unit. and then we could start argueing that it would be better for a 2 bedroom mixed scenario.

My oh my what a tangled web we weave

I felt it was more like big mother in BB4. They seemed to get told off for doing simple things wrong like when they were using the task cards to slide across the sitting room or when ray burst the seat cushion or even shouting to loud in the garden. They should let them get on with it this year instead of telling them off every 5 minutes no wonder nothing happened in BB4.

Re: no of bedrooms. While an end to boy/girl rooms is essential, I think three bedrooms may work better than one. I know Merlin UK is on about housemates having no where to hide, but to get a bit of bitching, they do need some seperation. Maybe giving one bedroom a glass wall so everything that happens in their can be seen by the other housemates is an idea.

I don't care what they do as long as they get rid of the crappy reward room.

I think a voting system like the one used in "I'm a Celebrity" would be better. Where the viewer votes for who they want to stay IN the house. Hopefully people wouldn't ring up and vote for someone who is boring and quiet, and added nothing to the show, and woudl vote for the interesting people.

I think right now people probably won't ring up and vote to kick out someone who hasn't done anything to annoy them (by being reserved and quiet..and boring)

No - despite all the reality shows launched since Big Brother they are the only show that allows you to EVICT housemates. It worked for the first three years brilliantly, and only failed last year as no housemates really had the Vote Out quality of previous years.

If they really are going to use two houses this year, instead of building one in Sussex, they already have one they have just finished using in C4's The Games - all set up and ready to go - so they may use that one - it did seem really well fitted out for The Games - and that only lasted a week

I cant see them having two big brother specific houses. Especially with the rumours that they wont be using the same location as last year either due to the close by neighbourhood.

If they do go with the two house idea and its only for a limited time then I expect they will use one of the other houses endermol have used for one of their many other reality shows.

I think some people are misunderstanding the "two house" format here. In other versions the two houses are situated on the same compound, but exist as seperate houses (just think semi-detached). Then after a few weeks a few walls disappear and the two houses become one. BB Austraila designed it so they began as two poor houses (outdoor showers, no kitchen etc), with the kitchen and bathroom revealed after merger.

Not if it's positive voting for that part of the show.
