I downloaded their new album 'Wordshaker' earlier and isn't it just brilliant?!

My favourite tracks are 'Open Up' 'Ego' '2am' and 'Lose Control'.

I much prefer them to other girl bands like Sugababes and Girls Aloud.

I hear their sales are doing poorly though. I wonder why this is?

I think the main reason they're struggling with the album is because

a) Forever is Over is an awful choice for lead single. It's nothing like the songs that made them popular in the first place, and it's no suprise that it only lasted 10 weeks in the top 100.

b) Releasing the album after one single was not a wise move. The Sats do not have the large fanbase needed to help them through the difficult second album on the strength of only one single. It the album was released after 'Ego' in January when sales are lower I think it'd have done alot better.

I do think if 'Ego' does well (which it currently is) and lasts in the charts for a decent amount of time then they'll get a 3rd single. The album has slowly been moving up iTunes recently and hopefully once Ego is released officially it'll boost the album back into the top 100.

Wordshaker is a FANTASTIC album. Ego, One Shot, Wordshaker, Not Good Enough, Lose Control, Denial, No One and Here Standing are all potential singles, imo. It's a much better album than Chasing Lights.

I think Ego is a great tune...couldn't believe the first song they released from this album though, it was a filler at best.

Wordshaker, along with Chasing Lights, is a brilliant pop album. I can't believe how bad it's done though. As much as I love them, I don't think they should have released another album so soon after Chasing Lights. As other FM's have said frequently, their fan base isn't big enough for that yet. None the less, I like them. I have a collage of pictures of them on one of my bedroom walls.

but deffo don't think they have been as good this year and seems others agree as they don't see to be doing that well with album sales

I think she was taking the song title "Open Up" a bit too literally.

I like 'Forever is Over' but I agree that there are better tunes on the album like 'Wordshaker' 'One Shot' and 'Lose Control'. 'Ego' is a great choice for a second single though and I hope this and their third release helps boost their album sales.

They deserve more recognition, I think.

I don't like any of their new stuff but Ego is a tune to be honest. Anything else is mediocre for me. Bring on their third album.

I hope they get a 3rd album. Their album sales of Wordshaker haven't been good at all!! Not even 100k apparently. Ego has got to do well for them.

oh, so shes fair game for any pervert with a camera to take 'upskirt' shots then is it?... sorry but regardless of her demeanour it doesnt make it right that some filthy sleezeball take advantage of her or any female. they deliberately crowd 'celebs' getting out of cabs, they deliberately position their cameras to look upskirt, it is completely WRONG.

The photographer may be a sleezeball, but so are the people that buy the magazines so they can laugh at such pictures- readers of heat and the like, who I think are mostly women?

She is a sleezeball herself too for going out like that, getting that drunk, and climbing out of the cab that way when she knew what she was wearing (or not wearing), but then at least she's not complaining about it- she could have so easily avoided it

i dont condone 'ladette' actions, girls getting bladdered and behaving 'badly'. however i defend their right to wear what they want to and should be free to do so without a pervert pointing his camera from a position deliberately chosen to look up a girls skirt . its not easy to get out of a cab without opening your legs! lol, the pervs know that.

If a guy wore shorts with no pants, then climbed out of a cab, drunk, with all his gentlemen vegetables on display like that, people would think it was disgusting, and this is really no different.
