My friend has got one of these for his xmas. I am not familiar with this box. The question is when i record 2 programmes on the same channel one after another via series link and with time guard off it uses the 2 tuners and you cannot go to another channel. Is this normal for a Thomson? Is there anyway to sort this?

I personally use a Digifusion FVRT200.

My problem is that you cannot change to another channel until the first programme finishes when recording one programme after another on the same channel.

Does your thomson box do that?
